Gayon Buchanan, LPN, CDP, CADDCT, CDSGF is a dynamic dementia care leader, author, educator, and speaker who empowers caregivers, memory care teams, and healthcare audiences navigate dementia with greater confidence, clarity, and compassion. With a career that began as a CNA while attending nursing school, Gayon built her foundation in hands-on care before rising into leadership across skilled nursing, secured memory care, and assisted living.
Today, she serves as Program Director of an all-memory-care assisted living community and is the founder of Bella Cares LLC, where she provides dementia education, caregiver support, and practical training that helps families and professionals respond more effectively to behaviors, communication challenges, and caregiver stress.
