Dijon Russell -Milow, a 1lb 9oz NICU survivor born 27-28 weeks premature, continues to defy the odds every day. His remarkable journey from the NICU to professional success is a testament to his resilience, determination, and unwavering belief in overcoming obstacles. With a diverse background in media, retail, and government, Dijon has built a life dedicated to empowering others, particularly youth and entrepreneurs.
A Passion for Public Speaking and Leadership
Dijon’s professional speaking journey began at the age of 15 when he delivered his first speech on leadership and mentoring at McKesson Technologies. Inspired by mentors throughout his life, he founded D (My-low) Milow Enterprise in 2006, a business dedicated to professional networking, speaking engagements, and business consulting. His mission is to guide others—especially youth—on the importance of mentorship, leadership, and personal growth.
Dijon is a Presentation Mastery Level 5 Presenter, a title he earned through his dedication to the craft of public speaking. In 2023-2024, he served as the Immediate Past President of The Real Toastmasters of Tucker, a distinguished Toastmasters group in East Atlanta, GA. As a Toastmasters leader, he also achieved 3rd place in the International Humorous Speech Contest for his district—a recognition that speaks to his exceptional communication skills and storytelling ability.
