Rubina Tahir
I share the tools you need to get UNSTUCK before you come UNGLUED.
Dr. Rubina Tahir is a chiropractor, corporate wellness entrepreneur, instructor for Northeast College of Health Sciences and The Macomb County Chiropractic Association, co-founder of Positivity and Truth, Huffington Post contributor, an award-winning practitioner by Philadelphia Family Magazine and Hour Detroit Magazine and has been featured in major news outlets including ABC, PHL17, Reader’s Digest, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, Prevention, and Bustle Magazine.
Health education for her goes beyond the typical office setting of events, workshops, podcasts, and speaking engagements. During the 2016 Olympics, she joined news anchor Matt Alba on PHL17 to discuss foods that reduce muscle pain. She has created over 70 media segments as host and producer with “My New Philly” for Comcast, including an invitation to interview NBA star Isaiah Thomas. She helps people understand the outcomes of health practices, their options, and lifestyle practices to create successful habits.
While pursuing her bachelor’s degree her mother was diagnosed with cancer. Which had the effect of intensifying her views of self-therapy and how she could help people heal themselves. Watching her hero advocate for her health, led Tahir to teach other women how to do the very same thing. In 2018 Tahir was diagnosed with BRCA1. On December 12th, 2023 she chose to have a prophylactic bilateral salpingo oophorectomy to prevent ovarian cancer. Her mission now is to educate humans on how to turn their biggest fears into a force of positive power.
