Bobby Clampett joined CBS Sports in 1991 as a course reporter for their broadcast of the PGA Championship. After retiring from his career as a professional golfer in 1995, Clampett was excited to accept a full-time position with CBS. He now works as a golf analyst at approximately 20 events per year and has become a respected member of the CBS Sports Golf Broadcast Team. Bobby Clampett was a regular on the PGA Tour from 1980 to 1995. During that time, he earned more than $1 million in tournament winnings. Clampetts most successful year came in 1981 when he finished the season ranked 14th on the Official Money List. Bobby had another great year in 1982, winning the Southern Open and coming close with six other top-ten finishes. In 1984, Clampett became the youngest player to earn more than $500,000.
