Eric Keiles’ Story:
It’s hard to be an entrepreneur. Over my 30+ years as an entrepreneur and creating eight different businesses, I had plenty of days asking myself “why in the world am I doing this?”.
Several of my companies “hit the ceiling” and couldn’t grow beyond a certain level, and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out why. I was feeling really frustrated.
At Square 2 Marketing, my digital marketing firm, we experienced just that. When we got to about six million dollars in revenue, everything stalled. We had great services, a super staff and loyal customers, but we just couldn’t seem to get past that revenue level. I asked some of my peers for their help and several of them said the same thing: “Have you heard of EOS, the Entrepreneurial Operating System?” or “Have you read the book Traction?”
Once I researched “EOS”, it hit me like a ton of bricks. What was missing from my companies was a system. Our company had systems in place for HR, operations and finance, but no system for operating the entire company. Having a company-wide operating platform and methodology is what was needed to eliminate obstacles and most importantly, help us scale.
We implemented EOS and we started to grow aggressively again. Our team was happier, client turnover was cut in half, margins were up, profits tripled, and things were truly running smoothly (and fun again!).
I was so impressed how EOS dramatically impacted our business; I decided that I would help other entrepreneurs enjoy the same experience we had. So, I sold my half of my marketing company and became an EOS Implementer and help other entrepreneurs achieve the vision they created when they started their business.

COVID. PROTESTS. INFLATION. This is not the kind of climate entrepreneurs have traditionally been accustomed to when driving revenue. The “pivot” is crucial in connecting with clients and Eric will take you through the step-by-step process that his firm, Square 2, uses daily to help clients thrive in the new economy.
