Carolyn Nielsen
Carolyn Ririe Nielsen is an author, speaker and businesswoman. She co-founded the award-winning publishing firm, R.W. Nielsen Company, with her husband, Roger W. Nielsen.
Carolyn grew up in the Midwestern United States and has traveled the world extensively. She regularly participates in humanitarian efforts in third world countries, providing her with an understanding of foreign cultures. She is the co-producer of The Concrete Home Builders' Trade Show in San Antonio, Texas.
In 2009, Carolyn contracted glaucoma and slowly began losing her vision. Although a challenge she didn't seek, she's learning valuable lessons as she adapts. "That's what life is all about and what makes it interesting," she insists. Now legally blind, she talks about her experiences in her popular podcast, Sight Without Sight.
In 2019, Carolyn joined Rog to create The Writers' Marketing Conference, a marketing seminar for emerging authors and entrepreneurs. She is an avid audio book listener, a laughter yoga coach, and enjoys identifying birds by sound while traveling the world with her husband.
Carolyn graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Environmental Design. She is the author of three books and mother of five children.
