As a member of the Intelligence Community, her position was instrumental in driving corporate growth and required accountability across Program Management, Engineering and the Executive team. Functioning as the "voice of the customer" to the organization, this role focuses on new business in: Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Cyber, Intelligence Community and Space Operations. Her focus was in marketing Large System Integration, SW Engineering, ISR Data Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination, SATCOM Engineering, Enterprise Testing & Support, Logistics and Sustainment. She provided business development support to SMEs/specialists in dissemination of time critical lethal threat information in the most challenging environments.
In 2002, as Lockheed Martin's Senior Program Manager for the Outsourcing Desktop Initiative Network (ODIN) program at NASA Langley, she provided transformational leadership, which resulted in reduced operational costs and greatly increased organic growth. In an unprecedented nine (9) months, her efforts resulted in winning her the President's Award at Lockheed Martin IT (later IS&GS). Then in 2005, while still at Lockheed, she successfully transitioned into a position selling in the Homeland Security market place at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), for almost as long as DHS has been in existence.
After holding various titles including Vice President, Business Development, in 2015, Ms. Herring was extended the opportunity to leverage her hybrid BD/OPS skills as the Director, Business Development for Digital Consulting Services (DCS). She ran five (5) strategic U.S. Army contracts that included CONUS & OCONUS work, one of which proudly included the West Point Academy while simultaneously being accountable for seventy-percent (70%) of corporate revenue generation including new business growth. Ms. Herring knows how to build multiple communities of interest by conceptualizing the organization's success model leveraging their key discriminators and developing the approach to operational excellence.
Since her early Lockheed Martin-IT and General Dynamics-AIS years, her contract successes have included technical operations management that provided a range of IT professional services and solutions valued from $18M to $2.5B. Ms. Herring continues to lead/support multiple pursuits leveraging her background with the following professional model: pursue ~ win ~ perform.

Ms. Herring has received numerous awards for sales, sales consistency and operational excellence. She has received recognition from several national organizations for her work in community service for women & children especially in under-served communities and the incarcerated youth & adults. In the early 1990's, she launched a 501(c)3 theatre production company that she ran for nine years. The mission was EDUTAINMENT, to educate and entertain leveraging theatrical talents as a catalyst for change. She is a published international writer-former National Press Member-2007, Performer (stage, television and movies), former independent TV producer, adhoc radio co-host and speaker/workshop trainer at various Military Transition Assistance Programs (TAP) in support of the separating military personnel and their families. She committed to arming our separating/retiring military personnel with the proper mindset and tools to better navigate and negotiate their highest value.
Ms. Herring's vision is to be a world changer by building multiple empowerment centers worldwide that support the education and advancement of women and children, especially those in under-served communities.
