The goal of this series is to make environmental economics understandable to lay readers. Finally, his Quantum Microeconomics is an e-textbook for introductory and intermediate students in the field.
He also serves as project economist for the Climate Leadership Initiative of the State of Washington, for which he researched and co-wrote Impacts of Climate Change on Washington's Economy.
Bauman has garnered extensive media attention in both his academic and his comedic roles, with coverage in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the leading financial newspapers of Italy and Germany, among many others. He has appeared on the PBS Newshour and NPR's Marketplace.
