Maria is the Founder and President of the Illinois Regional Agile Users Group (IRAUG), has held the position of Area Governor for Toastmasters International District 30, President of Extreme Toastmasters, VP of Operations for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Central Illinois Chapter, and Chapter Engagement Representative for the PMI Agile Community of Practice.

With over 14 industry certifications Maria is considered an expert in project management, planning and has reached an almost celebrity status in the agile communities world wide.
