
Dr. Haig Baronikian
Haig is founder, President and Senior Consultant at eFuel Partners Inc. He has over 25 years of experience in the eLearning, eHealth, telecom and information technology fields. He has held leadership positions in corporate strategy, marketing, R&D, sales engineering, systems integration and software development with Bell Canada. For the past twelve years, as a management consultant, project leader and innovation instigator, he has led a range of eFuel consulting engagements, such as: development and implementation of a data warehouse/business intelligence system; various strategy, business planning and marketing projects in the eHealth, microelectronics and telecom fields; needs assessment, planning, project management, pilot implementation and evaluation for a student clinical placement system for Nursing programs across Ontario; and, project management to implement a state-of-the-art digital systems chip testing laboratory (part of the National Microelectronics and Photonics Testing Collaboratory). He has worked in the private, public, educational as well as charitable sectors.
Haig is the co-author of the textbook, 'Leadership in Project Management: Leading People and Projects to Success'.
Haig holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto. He also holds the M.Ed. Degree from OISE (focusing on adult education and eLearning) and Degrees in engineering from the University of Waterloo and McGill University. He has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design as well as Associate Faculty with Royal Roads University. Haig currently teaches project management, strategy and innovation topics at the University of Toronto and enterprise analysis with York University's Schulich Executive Education Centre. He has also been a part-time professor in George Brown College’s Research Commercialization and Innovation program. He has developed and delivered corporate training for a range of clients.
Haig is a Professional Engineer and has earned the PMP credential from PMI.
