Topics of Interest:
I have written an autoethnography. It is my hope to share with my audience the process by which I discovered a resilient self when considering the abuse and impoverished conditions I experienced. I share a story that represents my life journey, but it can represent the life of many listeners who have lived in the United States in poverty and/or have lived through physical, emotional, verbal and sexual abuse by family members or intimate others.
