Lorette Pruden

NJ, US
Formerly corporate, this Princeton engineer turned entrepreneur is now on Plan C, the business you create when reality hits...

"I work at the intersection of business and people processes,"says Lorette. She teaches business people how to create strategic alliances, continuous referrals, and fool-proof processes (start to finish) to develop profitable, self-sufficient businesses.

Many of her clients are among the "formerly corporate"TM, for whom the transition from Plan A, the good safe job with benefits to Plan C:  the business you create when reality hits, is the major transition of their lives. (In case you're wondering, Plan B didn't work out like they thought it would...)

A chemical engineer turned entrepreneur, Lorette brings her record of innovation, knowledge of process thinking, and certified team skills to her work in helping business owners move their business from ordinary to extraordinary.  After over 20 years with Mobil Corporation, she opened her own consulting business in 2000. As the owner of Team Nimbus New Jersey, Lorette works with business owners, sales professionals, and independent professionals to train, coach and inspire them as they learn  to put themselves in postions where opportunities call fall into their lap.

Lorette has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University. In her corporate career she worked in research and new product development and the management of innovation. She served on the planning team for the PDMA's Front End of Innovation Conference for five years. Lorette is a Mobil-certified Team Skills trainer, and is a certified Master Trainer for PeopleSmartTM and Team Nimbus.

In 2011, Lorette published FINISH YOUR BOOK! co-authored with Karen Hodges Miller, PLAN C is due for publication in early 2012.  She is a past-President of the National Speakers Association NJ chapter, and served on the board of the Institute for Management Consultants, NJ. She has been listed as a top management consultant by NJBiz and has served on the boards of the Montgomery Twonship Business Association, NJ Youth Symphony, and the NJ Council of Farmers and Communities. She speaks frequently on the subject of strategic planning, business development, and execution for technical businesses, small businesses and non-profit organizations.
