CMA
PA, USDo you love your small business? Would you like to still love working in your company ten years from now? Creating and documenting a strong brand and company culture will make this happen.
Karen L. Jett, CMA works with small business owners who love what they do and want a strategic advantage to grow their business or practice. Creating a strategic advantage starts with clearly identifying the elements of your brand: the vision, mission, values and operating guidelines. Once these elements are built into everyday business operations the brand becomes the company culture.
With more than two decades of accounting and business leadership experience, Karen founded Jett Excellence so she could follow her passion for helping small businesses and people to excel. In 2014 Karen was excited to join the RedKnight team and provide even more services to her clients.
Karen brings a unique business perspective to the table - she understands the challenges leaders face, both operational and financial, on a daily basis. Best known for her down-to-earth, practical approach and quirky sense of humor, Karen makes complex subjects simple to understand and apply.
Karen has a four step process that assists small business owners to identify their brand. She presents this process in presentations, small workshops, and one-on-one mentoring sessions. In addition to brand identification, Karen provides the following services:
- Management training workshops
- Strategic planning facilitation (individual companies and small groups)
- Values identification and integration
- Ethics training
- Mentoring and executive coaching
Karen specializes in working with small business owners from the sole proprietor or mom-and-pop business owner through small businesses employing up to 500 employees.
"Karen led the strategic planning session for a Board of Directors retreat I attended. Having attended a few in the past, I thought I knew what to expect. However, I was surprised and highly impressed with Karen's ability to facilitate and direct our group through the process. I was amazed at how quickly it all came together with complete buy-in from everyone. I can honestly say that she is the best I have experienced. True excellence!" Moniginia (Monée) Pressley, M.Ed.
