John Pellowe
John is Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities, providing professional services to more than 3,200 member charities. In his CEO position, he practices the lessons he teaches in this presentation.
Although now serving in a Christian context, Pellowe developed Leadership Lessons From Vimy Ridge as a non-faith-based program when he was president of Canadian Leadership Corporation. While researching his grandfather's WWI service, he discovered a story of great leadership whose lessons could be applied to the leadership development work he was then doing with corporate management teams.
John's career prior to joining the Canadian Council of Christian Charities includes working for the Canadian Industrial Innovation Centre at the University of Waterloo, commerical banking with both Bank of Montreal (at branch and head office level) and Barclays Bank, and self-employment in leadership development at Canadian Leadership Corporation.
John Pellowe lives in Waterloo, ON.
