I recently had the privilege of listening to Dr. Nieder speak at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Annual Meeting conference in Chicago. Dr. Nieder spoke to a room of accomplished Nuclear Medicine Technologists and a handful of Nuclear Medicine Physicians. After months of searching for a lighthearted healthcare speaker, we decided to go down the comedy route which led us to Dr. Nieder’s website. Within the week of submitting an inquiry, Dr. Nieder contacted me to start the planning process. From the moment Dr. Nieder stepped onto the stage, he had the audience in stitches. Dr. Brad delivered the endnote on the first day of our national Clinician Well-Being Summit. And on a day when we led off with remarks from the U.S. Surgeon General and talked at length about ways to battle rising rates of clinician burnout, Brad's performance was memorable for all the right reasons. Brad recently was the closing keynote for our Annual Patient Safety Conference- Healing our Healers: Organizational Solutions for Safety and Wellbeing. Our conference draws healthcare providers from the region-including Maryland, DC, VA DE and PA. He was the perfect way to end this full day conference focused on providing organizations with strategies to promote wellbeing in the healthcare work force. He customized his presentation for our audience and our region- and made us laugh- hard- in a virtual format! He was a pleasure to work with and knowledgeable of and extremely responsive to information requests needed for CE/CME applications. The highlight of our program this year!

In October 2020, Dr. Brad did a virtual event for a class of George Washington University nurse practitioner students. The majority of our students are working RNs on the front lines of the COVID pandemic. Needless to say, they have had a tough year. Dr. Brad was the highlight of the virtual event and the students were grateful for the comic relief. We hired Brad for a Virtual Happy Hour to help Celebrate Doctor's Day on March 30th. He communicated regularly, met with us to assimilate local content and incorporated it seamlessly. His program was hilarious and family friendly, his virtual event is interactive. Colleagues were smiling and laughing the entire time.

Brad served two roles as part of the Indiana University School of Medicine's Medical Alumni Weekend (reunion weekend). He served as the emcee for an awards luncheon and later that evening performed a stand-up routine for our alumni and their guests. Brad was terrific in both roles. He delivered a clean, witty performance that resonated with our audience. There was plenty of laughing out loud throughout. Brad was easy to work with from start to finish. To put it simply, Brad rocks! He was our keynote speaker at both of our employee service award luncheons this year (250-400 people at each). The audience really enjoyed his message about laughter being the best medicine. He was hilarious and a true pleasure to work with. Before each event, he took the time to understand the audience and our organization because he wanted to weave pieces of who we are into his message. Brad was the keynote speaker for Community Health Foundation's Annual Reception earlier this month in Springfield, Ohio. Dr. Brad was our opening keynote speaker for TravCon 2022. He was just great! Our attendees - all healthcare travelers - gave him rave reviews. He "gets" the somewhat cynical and sardonic sense of humor common to working, clinical healthcare professionals. He had the room laughing from the very beginning.
