Matt Campbell is the CEO of Georgia Matters, a James Magazine ranked Top Government Relations Firm. He has over twenty years of experience working collaboratively with business owners, communities, and elected officials throughout the state on important economic initiatives. Additionally, Matt advocates for mental health awareness and suicide prevention through the Michael C. Harte Foundation and is a member of the National Speakers Association.
Matt serves as Executive Director at the Coastal Entertainment Alliance, a prominent organization on the Georgia coast with the mission of attracting, cultivating, and preserving business opportunities within the thriving film and entertainment sector.
Appointed by Governor Brian Kemp to the Georgia Commission for Service and Volunteerism in 2020, Matt now serves as Board Chairman. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Bryan County Chamber of Commerce, the Entertainment Tourism Alliance of Georgia (ETAG), and the Georgia Professional Lobbyists Association.
A native of Coastal Georgia and lifelong fan of the back-to-back college football national champions– Georgia Bulldogs, Matt and wife Chrissy live just south of Savannah in Richmond Hill, and have three children, daughter Mary Kathryn, son Tristan (Ashlyn), and their sweet Michael in Heaven.
Matt is a graduate of Leadership Bryan (2022), Leadership Southeast Georgia (2024), and holds a bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State University.
