As a Biology major and Business minor, I had a passion for the mind including my studies in Psychology, Sociology, Genetics, Statistics, Business Development and Marketing.

Leadership and speaking in front of groups was perfected when I became an Eagle Scout and later, a Gold Level Toastmaster.

As an alcohol industry veteran, I spent a decade as a Marketing Manager for iconic brands like Jack Daniels, Southern Comfort, Woodford Reserve, Herradura Tequila and more. In this role, my job was not to sale alcohol but to promote the brand. I worked alongside my counterparts who covered brands like Bacardi, Grey Goose, Patron, and a new brand at the time called Tito's Vodka. We learned from the best in the industry on how to market and promote. Selling was what the liquor stores or bartenders did. We built brands.

I have been on multiple podcasts including several times on national radio; presented on multiple stages including on the SXSW Tech festival stage; and been in local newspaper, local magazines, local tv, and the local huge University of Texas college newspaper.
