I met Charlotte at an event several years ago and called on her when I had team members I was interested in investing into for development. She immediately identified, and provided evidence to support, that one of the team members was not in a position to take on more responsibility nor was this person meeting the expectations of their current role. I had allowed my love and respect for the person to cloud my judgement of their performance. I wanted to save the person , so Charlotte created a plan to help improve efficiencies, communication, and productivity.
