Jamie earned her Master's degree in Counseling and her Doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She has over 20 years of experience researching, teaching, consulting and coaching individuals to overcome obstacles and live their dreams.


As a corporate trainer and speaker Jamie has worked with over 100 organizations to deliver sessions focused on resilience, critical thinking and the soft skills we all need to succeed in the workforce. Jamie also worked in talent analytics for a major healthcare and insurance company. In higher education Jamie served as an academic counselor and tenured professor and department chair. Rounding out her experience, Jamie also has experience consulting with non-profit organizations as a program evaluator. She draws upon all of these experiences to create meaningful connections with her audiences, understand their needs, and leave them inspired with an action plan for reaching their goals.
