Lonesome Dewey was left behind on a cattle drive in the high desert of Oregon, then taken in and raised by a pack of wolves at the tender age of 2 years old. When the wolves howled Dewey would howl too! Maybe he howled just a little much for his loving wolf pack. The wolves eventually realized that they had their paws full with Dewey hanging around howling day and night, so they dropped him off on the front steps of a boarding school where Howling Dewey's first musical adventure was learning to play the French Horn, ...which ultimately led to more loneliness.
Then he discovered a magic guitar painted red, white and blue! Dewey played the magic guitar night and day and soon it brought him fame and fortune. Dewey toured the great Northwest, Canada, Japan, Hawaii, South Korea, The Philippines and Okinawa dazzling crowds all along the way. Yet the home fires called so he settled back down in his home town of Portland and got together with musical friends to create Lonesome Dewey & The Coyotes. A pack of fun-loving Coyotes that love to play great music and howl!
