As an Organizational Psychologist, I am passionate about helping leaders grow by raising their self-awareness.
After the Space Shuttle Columbia exploded upon re-entry in 2003, killing everybody aboard, I was hired by NASA to transform the culture. The investigation revealed many contributing factors, but what stuck with me was how a lack of self-awareness affected behavior leading to the tragedy.
In stark contrast with the heartbreak of the Columbia accident, I chose to study humor for my doctoral dissertation, which means that my knowledge spans the spectrum of the human experience at work.
In my quest to change the way the world communicates, I laugh, I cry – and I work to be a dynamic speaker and story-teller so I can connect you with yourself and each other in new, transformational ways.
