Hans Ravnkjær Larsen
Hans Ravnkjær Larsen is the founder of Cheche – meetings and conferences with a Spark. Hans holds a Master in Geography and Mathematics, which mostly gives him great skills in wayfinding and head-counting even at big meetings and events.
Hans is moderator, facilitator, meeting designer, and not least passion evangelist, hosting Ignite Denmark since 2010, he is the co-founder of Mødeindustriens Dag [Meeting Industry's Day], and works part-time with IDA, The Danish Association of Engineers, developing and executing conferences, events with more. Here, Hans has developed, designed, and hosted the 'TEKDEB', short for Technology Development Debate Conference, a multi-hub debate event with domain experts 'battling' internally and with the audience onsite as well as through video. For the last few years, Hans has trained academics in 'pitching' and the art of making their message 'stick' when speaking in public, at the INSPIRE Conference held by the EU Commission. For more than 10 years, Hans has taken part in the designing, training, moderating of 'Kortdage', Mapping Days, the annual three-day convention of the geodata community in Denmark, with 600-800 participants.
As a meeting designer Hans stimulates results and forges relationships, provides up to the minute tools and training to frame and execute both large and small meetings and engage staff and executives at all levels, having a focus on building presentations with impact, designing engaging knowledge-sharing sessions and putting inspiring, new formats into play. Better meetings lead to better decisions.
Hans has 30 years of experience from designing and hosting better meetings, events, community building and more, from various positions as well as volunteer work. He is an active member of the Denmark Chapter, President for the fiscal year 2017-18, prior to that held the position of VP Education for 18 months, and he has been with MPI and the board since 2014.
Hans speaks English, Danish (Scandinavian), French, a bit of German, and over time Italian (learning it slowly, but surely).
