Jeffrey Bogan
Jeffrey Bogan was born and raised in a small Downstate Illinois town. His father was a business owner. His grandfather was a business owner. His father-in-law was a business owner. Bogan worked for a bank in Florida right out of college but moved back to his beloved Midwest after a couple years. He took a position with a dynamic entrepreneur in the automotive catalog, manufacturing, and entertainment business. And his life since has never been the same. Over the past 25 years Bogan has attained senior management assignments with a variety of great entrepreneurial minds. During this time his region of Illinois gained a strong reputation for growing very successful entrepreneurs. The area experienced remarkable growth and success, mostly at the hands of entrepreneurs and their privately-held businesses. Bogan observed and interacted with these dynamos with complete fascination. He later ran for mayor of his town on a pro-business platform and won. As the mayor of one of the few shining spots in an economically dismal state, Bogan knows why entrepreneurs are so special. And he wants to tell you. In a manner that falls somewhere between Mark Twain and Tom Peters.
