Hunter has coached leaders from Google, Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, and over 200 startups.  Hunter mentors startups at Darden Business School's Innovation Lab and at the Capital One-sponsored Lighthouse Labs Accelerator. He is a guest lecturer for young executives from NASA, the intelligence community, and other federal agencies at the Federal Executive Institute. Hunter has served as Chief Operating Officer of a successful cybersecurity startup, holds a bachelor's Degree in Science and Technology, and holds a master's degree in strategic intelligence. Hunter was formerly a Special Agent with NCIS, where he founded and led the Special Projects & Emergency Action (SPEAR) Team, a highly-trained unit for sensitive missions.

His work focuses on two areas:

(1) Helping teams and individuals build actionable frameworks in strategy, innovation, and team work to drive results, &

(2) How to run a lean mind, despite competing priorities and mountains of data.
