News for speakers from IMEX 2021

We’re writing this as we wrap up a visit to the IMEX 2021 event in Las Vegas. If you’re not familiar with IMEX, it’s one of the largest conferences in the meetings industry. They call themselves “The heartbeat of the global business events community.” The attendees are primarily meeting planners and event organizers: the people who hire you. This year, there were 12,389 total participants from 150 countries.

We’ve been coming to IMEX for many years because we learn things about the meetings industry that we use to guide our own ship and that we use to help our friends who are speakers/trainers/coaches.

We took some notes on a few things we learned here that we think you’ll find helpful in making intentional plans for growing your business in 2022-23

Work Life Balance Speakers To Help Your Employee Love Life Again

As the world becomes increasingly connected, and the options for employees to work from home continue to increase, it gets harder and harder for people to maintain a comfortable work life balance. This is not because employers are encouraging that more work be completed over longer hours, simply, the shift has happened on its own due to the accessibility of information and communication.

GigOS is the integration between eSpeakers EventCX and SpeakerFlow CRM.

We’ve been cooking up something BIG with the team over at SpeakerFlow. And after over a year of development, we’re excited to introduce GigOS.

It combines everything you need to run your speaking business in one place: custom CRM for speakers, EventCX specialized calendaring and automation platform, marketing exposure through the eSpeakers directory network, access to eSpeakers Lead Center, and 40+ other tools to run your business end-to-end. And they’re all integrated!

If you’re a professional who presents to or teaches remote audiences over a live video meeting tool like Zoom or GoToMeeting, this course is for you.

Nothing kills a presenter’s credibility, frustrates attendees, and buries the message faster than a presenter who is hard to see, hard to hear, or who is struggling with basic technology.

This course will help you avoid all of those issues. If you implement the practical guidance in this course, your content and presentation skills will be able to shine through the screen and impact everyone in your virtual meeting. This course includes about 2 hours of materials, and then you’ll be prepared to schedule your assessment to get the Certified Virtual Presenter — or CVP — badge. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Certified Virtual Presenters Now Available

Salt Lake City, UT — May 12, 2020 — The shift to online meetings brought on by Covid-19 has highlighted the urgent need for event organizers to find speakers who deliver their content remotely. Many of the old sources for keynoters and trainers do not give any indication of a presenter’s online ability via Zoom, WebEx, etc.

To assist their friends in the event organization business, eSpeakers announces the Virtual Presenter certification. This certification is a basic test of a presenter’s equipment, environment, and skill using remote presentation tools like Zoom, WebEx, etc.
